The Charlotte Peruvian Festival brings Peruvian culture, music and traditions to the Queen City each summer around Peru’s Independence Day (late July). Founded in 2018 by Lima native Martin Linares and produced by Martin Eventos LLC, the festival features Peruvian food like ceviche and tamales, live cumbia and Latin music, and traditional dances such as La Marinera.
